Meet Raylynn: Therapist, Beekeeper, and Guide Through Life’s Messy Middle

I have the pleasure of working alongside some truly incredible therapists—and Raylynn White is one of them.

She’s the kind of therapist who blends deep clinical knowledge with grounded, real-life wisdom. Raylynn is not only a Registered Social Worker with years of experience supporting people through transitions, grief, and identity shifts—she’s also a Master Beekeeper. Yes, really.

That alone tells you something about her commitment, patience, and ability to hold complexity with care.

What I admire most about Raylynn is that she shows up with equal parts calm, curiosity, and creativity. She’s the therapist people turn to when they’re tired of pretending everything’s fine. When they’ve done the “right” things in life—but something still feels off. She creates a space that’s both safe and expansive.

In her own words:

“You don’t have to be at a breaking point for therapy to be helpful. Sometimes, the most powerful work happens in the quiet in-between moments—when something inside you whispers that the way you’ve been living no longer fits.”

Raylynn supports people who are navigating those tender in-between places: parenting, aging, loss, burnout, recovery, reinvention. And she gets how exhausting it is to carry the pressure of perfectionism while keeping everything together for everyone else.

“Perfectionism isn’t just about wanting things to be neat or done right. It’s often a survival strategy—a way to feel safe, worthy, or in control when the world feels unpredictable.”

Through therapy, she helps clients unpack where these beliefs come from and gently explores what it might mean to live differently—with more softness, self-trust, and space to change.

Raylynn often brings in metaphors from nature and the hive. As she puts it:

“Bees thrive in systems. Each part of the hive supports the whole. They know when to rest, when to retreat, and when to rebuild. Humans, too, are wired for interconnection. We’re not meant to push through everything alone.”

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself or overwhelmed by transition—whether it’s parenting, caregiving, grief, recovery, or just a shift you can’t quite name—Raylynn offers a space to reconnect and recalibrate.

She’s currently accepting new clients across Ontario & Newfoundland and offers a free 15-minute consultation so you can explore whether it’s a good fit.
